Bio

Lars Grotewold heads the Climate Action department at Stiftung Mercator, the largest philanthropic climate funder in Germany. He is a co-founder of Agora Energiewende, Agora Verkehrswende, Clean Energy Wire and the Mercator Institute on Global Commons and Climate Change. He holds a Ph.D. in molecular genetics and has been working for the National Council for Science and Humanities.
